I have eaten there for years, breakfast lunch and dinner. I have eaten many of the food items on their menu and absolutely love their food. Great service in my opinion and top notch food. Highly recommended.
Food is great! The building looks old, dirty, abandoned. The classic chandeliers have 2 and 3 burned light bulbs. Tables are in bad conditions. It would be great to see a remodeled interior with LED lights, new paint, clean and neat without losing that classic touch. So 4 stars for the food and great customer service only.
Haven't been here in ages!! I used to go by here back in the day when i was delivering from Walmart DC (down the road)- so now i had a chance to go back and see how good there stuff was! Wasn't disappointed! I ordered the Cali burger (has avocado and bacon)... They burnt the bun a little, but it was still delicious! Forgot to serve me fries, but that burger was holding me over! For some reason , i love their fry sauce here (which seems more like an almost thousand island dressing , the more i think of it)... Will come back here if i have a chance. I gave 4 stars because their menu has a huge selection of items - from hot cooked breakfast items, to salads and burritos and fried chicken... Even ice cream and sundaes!! So i can't speak for the rest of their huge menu ... Will give that update if i ever come back!!
Thank you Gokden Spike Burger for having every topping a hamburger can have. Not only did I fulfill all the serving sizes listed in the food pyramid my soul was warmed with wonderful American burger goodness! It is worth the trip to check out this burger spot. Can't get enough!
*** TRUCKERS *** : there is actually a fairly large gravel lot just to West side of the restaurant, can fit maybe 4 trucks or so all parked North to South (if you want to head back to UT-13 to the I-84 that direction, id suggest take a quick right on N 4000 W, then unto N Front Street... When you pull in you'll be facing the Highway - not enough room to pull a U Turn in the lot!!!)
Wonderful little burger shop. Classic burger, fries, and milkshake combo. Their signature burger, the golden spike burger, is wonderful. 7 or 8 ingredients that all work well together. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was all super friendly. When you reminisce about the good old places, before McDonald's, this is the place you fondly remember.
